Kulusevski and Johnson developing such a nice partnership, on the same wavelength every time. Underlapping or overlapping each other, helps that Deki can run beyond him if Brennan decoys by coming short.

@TheExtraInch question for the pod: after that performance from Mikey Moore, surely he gets minutes over Werner? He made things happen and looked like he’d always played at this level. Maybe he won’t stretch the defence like Werner, but what the point of that if you can’t finish?

@Flav_Bateman Surely the bare minimum for someone commentating on a Spurs game is to understand how we play? Even more so for Hoddle who is a Spurs legend. I thought it was a good perfomance, the commentators made out we were lucky to win.

@VFTLpodcast Am I the only person who thought that was a good performance tonight? Yes, there were a few nervy moments but anyone who’s being paying attention knows “that’s the way we play mate”. Moore excellent, Gray good, Lankshear promising. Some attacking play was 👌.

@JoeBarton_ It seemed to be a very forced narrative. That’s what we do, risk v reward. I was never really worried in what could have been a difficult game. Maybe commentators should watch a few games before shitting their pants about how we play.

@Spooky23 I think we’ve played pretty well considering the rotation and young players. By far the better team but Matterface and Hoddle making out we’ve been lucky to “hang on”.

@JackPittBrooke Let’s not forget that Coventry made 7 changes too. This has to be a systematic problem, it’s been the same in most games so far this season. So much pointless possession, never looked like scoring.

I never thought he should have played such a weak team, and the fact that they needed Kulusevski to dig them out of the hole points to that too. I get why he wanted to play Gray and Bergvall. Spence did well when he came on. Can't see any point in playing Forster or Werner though
