@jamierkennedy @PGATOUR @DPWorldTour I agree they did talk about it. So, we knew that Rozners 2nd into 18 was important. but the commentators didn’t seem to know if he needed a par or a birdie. It would have been good to have a separate leaderboard for that competition for the 10 cards to see the ebbs and flows…

I thought the opposite actually.
With the R2D essentially wrapped and a two-horse race for the event title, I thought the majority of the conversation on Sunday was around the Tour cards, the scenarios, the pressure, the opportunity etc. That being said, I thought it added to the broadcast and was clearly a big narrative for players throughout the week and especially on Sunday.

🚨 J.T. Poston says he was ‘trying to win’ after making an 8 on 18, costing him $260k & a solo second finish. #3MOpen
Would you have gone for the win or played it safe?

@johnhuggan Also, I’d argue the Tour de France and The Ashes are quite big events too.

THIRD WORLD BRITAIN 🥲
What a bloody mess this country is.
This could be almost any motorway in Britain. How does the CEO of @NationalHways sleep at night? @BBCJustinR

@MitchellGlenn My sense is that Stokes is quite a loyal person and is also thinking despite a few mistakes Bairstow’s class will come through.
It’s also risky changing a winning team.

@weirb4 I had a bet once with a colleague to see who could work the word Machiavellian into a work meeting. He did it with such aplomb I wanted to stand up and applaud
