@SJ_MacroView $300 base to $1T in six months means either AI changed the fundamental economics of memory forever or the market got very excited very fast. one of those has happened before.

Micron at a trillion, up 304% in six months, and everyone's calling it a supercycle. Memory has never had one — only cycles. Sold-out HBM, record margins, demand outrunning supply: those aren't durability, they're the scarcity signals that have marked every top. Scarcity funds the capacity that ends the run. So is 304% off a $300 base the new floor, or the print right before supply answers?

@MarketsSimply people will spend 40 hours researching a $600 TV and zero hours setting up a Roth IRA. one of those decisions compounds for 30 years.

most people think investing is complicated. it doesn't have to be: 1. open a Roth IRA 2. buy a total market index fund (VTI or FSKAX) 3. set it to auto-invest monthly 4. don't touch it that's it. you just beat 90% of actively managed funds over 20 years.

SpaceX's IPO roadshow starts June 4. they're reportedly targeting a valuation north of $1.8T and a raise of up to $75B — numbers that would make it the biggest IPO we've ever seen. but here's the question: are investors buying a dominant satellite network, launch monopoly, and future infrastructure platform... or paying peak price for a story everyone already believes? would you buy on day one?

@PolymarketMoney the architecture choice is the tell here ByteDance's new inference chip is inspired by Groq's LPU design — a chip built specifically for running AI models, not training them. they're not trying to out-Nvidia Nvidia. they're building for the agentic workload that's already here.

ByteDance is reportedly building a new inference chip for AI models and agents with an architecture similar to Groq’s LPUs. ByteDance may avoid HBM by using Chinese RRAM memory tech, reducing exposure to U.S. export controls as it builds more AI infrastructure in-house.

BREAKING: CANADA OFFICIALLY ENTERS A TECHNICAL RECESSION FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 6 YEARS. The country is getting hit from two sides at the same time. The tariff war with the US is blocking trade, and the war in Iran is pushing up fuel costs. Because of this double blow, the economy is shrinking. New numbers show GDP fell 0.1% in the first quarter of this year, right after a 1% drop at the end of last year. Experts did not see this coming at all, they expected the economy to grow by 1.5%. Instead, three out of the last four quarters have been negative. The car industry is taking the worst hit. Sales of cars and trucks to other countries are dropping fast because the new US tariffs are choking the supply lines. At the same time, the conflict in Iran is making oil and energy way more expensive. Because running a business is costing much more now, companies cut their investments by 0.7%. This is the fifth quarter in a row that business spending has gone down. Regular workers are feeling the pain directly. The economy lost 18,000 jobs in April alone, pushing the unemployment rate to a 6-month high. With both conflicts getting worse, there is no quick fix in sight.

🚨 DELL IS NOW UP 92% SINCE PRESIDENT TRUMP SAID "GO BUY A DELL" On May 8, President Trump publicly told a conference to "Go out and buy a Dell, they are great." The stock was at $216. What followed was a chain of catalysts that completely repriced what most people still think of as a legacy PC company into one of the most important AI infrastructure plays in the world. Dell holds the largest market share in AI servers globally at 20%, more than HPE, Supermicro, and Lenovo. It gained even more ground in early 2026 after Supermicro's governance crisis left a major gap that Dell stepped into immediately. On May 18, Dell announced AI Factory expansions with Nvidia, Google, OpenAI, Palantir, and SpaceX AI, positioning itself as the core on-premise AI infrastructure layer for enterprises that do not want to rely on public cloud. The company's AI-optimized server revenue had already spiked 342% year over year hitting $9 billion in a single quarter before this announcement. On May 27, the US Pentagon awarded Dell a $9.7 billion five year contract to manage Microsoft software across the entire US military. On May 28, earnings destroyed every estimate. Quarterly revenue hit $43.84 billion, up 88% year over year. EPS of $4.86 against estimates. Dell now ships close to one fifth of all AI-optimized servers globally. AI server backlog entering 2027 hit an all time record of $43 billion. Management raised full year AI server guidance to $60 billion. Dell is now up 136% year to date, the best performing major technology hardware stock of 2026. The stock went from $216 to $420 in under a month. The company that Wall Street ignored for a decade quietly became the backbone of the global AI infrastructure buildout.

It's official: Canada has unexpectedly entered a technical recession for the first time since the pandemic lockdowns in 2020. Real GDP in Canada fell -0.1% in Q1 2026 following a -1.0% contraction in Q4 2025. This marks two-straight quarters of GDP contraction for the first time in six years. Economists had expected Q1 GDP growth of +1.5%, yet the economy suddenly contracted. The weak GDP data coincides with a weak job market as well, as the Canadian economy is likely to remain under pressure amid ongoing US tariffs. Meanwhile, the household saving rate fell to 3.5%, reaching its lowest level since the Q1 2024 as spending rose faster than incomes. Canada is facing a major economic slowdown.

🚨 THE AI BUBBLE IS STARTING TO CRACK. In the last 30 days: – Microsoft cut Claude Code licenses – Uber blew through its AI budget in 4 months – Uber's COO questioned AI spending – Fortune 20 companies started slashing token usage – One firm burned $500M on Claude in a month – H200 rental prices collapsed from $7/hr to $4/hr The people actually paying the AI bills are pulling back. Wall Street is still pricing perfection.

🚨 SPACEX MAY BE THE BIGGEST INSIDER CASHOUT IN MARKET HISTORY!!! SpaceX is expected to go public on June 12 at a valuation of $1.75-$2 TRILLION. That would instantly make it larger than Microsoft and second only to Apple and Nvidia in the US market. Yet the company lost $4.28 BILLION in Q1 2026 alone and has accumulated deficits of $41.3 BILLION since founding. The real story is what happens after the IPO. Insiders currently own 95% of all shares. The public float is only 5%. And insiders are sitting on $1.66 TRILLION of paper wealth that cannot currently be sold. Most IPOs lock insiders up for 180 days. SpaceX isn't doing that. Just 60 days after listing, 20% of eligible insider shares can unlock. If the stock rises 30% above the IPO price, another 10% unlocks. Then five separate 7% unlocks hit between days 70 and 135. By November 2026, 93% of early-release insider shares could already be free to sell. This isn't just an IPO. It's one of the biggest liquidity grab events Wall Street has ever seen.

Salesforce beat earnings hard: → EPS: $3.88 vs $3.13 expected → Revenue: $11.13B vs $11.05B expected …but the stock still fell after hours. why? because markets care more about the next quarter than the last one. Q2 guidance came in light, and investors still aren’t convinced the AI story translates into real growth yet. that’s the problem with being priced like an AI winner: good numbers alone aren’t enough anymore. $CRM
