The long and short of it was that Bournemouth was the better team and deserved their victory. Some of the players look jaded, especially Zubimendi. Declan Rice continues to give everything

Ultimately this is a tactical defeat not a psychological one imo- which I don’t think is ‘better’ than the more attractive psychological angle (in fact I think it’s worse) and to frame it that way discredits Bournemouth. For Arsenal, technical level needs to rise, without Odegaard and Merino not enough ball security under pressure and I’d wager we’ll see fixing that as a big focus in the summer (which obvs doesn’t help us now!)

Struggled with the four man press again much like the Carabao Cup Final. Frustrating that the warning signs weren’t heeded in the build up to their second goal and we continued to play short even though it was consistently getting us into trouble.

Our right hand side was our attacking identity and it’s gone now.
Meanwhile, as our technical leaders have fallen away, it’s gotten easier for teams to keep the ball and find their way into the game.
