$HUBC announces a second reverse split in 2 months. Tough lesson for $HUBC traders falling for random promoters on social media pushing the false notion that the float was only 1 million shares. Classic case of a troubled company giving favorable terms to hard money lenders. Those convertible note holders had an adjustable VWAP tied conversion price and now retail learns the hard way what can happen to the float in mere days. Not 1M shares outstanding but actually was 66M due to recent note conversion. Make careful note who has been insisting the HUBC float was only 1 million shares the last few weeks. That’s a questionable source of information to not get these basics correct. This sort of “surprise” is not an uncommon scenario. it’s just one that promoters and naked short promoters take advantage of to spread misinformation.
