Amid a bitter standoff between Sudan and the UAE, official Sudanese gold exports to the Gulf nation plunged last year -- to about 8.2 metric tons, down from 22.2 tons in 2024. The bullion was exported elsewhere, including to Egypt, which received 4.9 tons. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
