FT 4-1 No complaints here, routed second half with pace, creativity, width and tempo which Villa couldn't handle. Goalkeeper has been immense for a long time but that's 2 games in a row where he's thrown one in, Sancho's legendary commitment to a tackle puts hosts on the front foot towards another goal and then it's back broken, under pressure. Watkins back scoring important for the second half of the season for club and country. Halfway point report is incredibly positive, poor first 5 games, resilience thereafter and have beaten every team around us bar Liverpool in a club equalling record. Glass more than half full. As for Arsenal, nothing changes, a full half season left, win lose or draw they were in a title race, and it's going to be the demons of April and May they have to tackle, not a very solid first 19 games of work. Delighted to see some of the Villa kids get minutes, we have some of the best in the country, expect more drip feeding over the next 12 months.
