Curiosity is stronger than love. A reporter asked him, “How so?” “I’m 94 years old, and I got married at 23. But at 46, my wife left me. She passed away 8 years ago but… She taught me the most precious of the lessons: “Love isn’t enough, you have to know how to show it.”

@BOSSportsGordo True. But anyone paying attention knew they were making poor choices and cutting corners. Despite the CBT, they behaved like a team afraid of spending too much. Even though the needs were glaringly obvious.

I’m not a Sox ownership bobo. But they’ve got the 6th highest CBT number in the league. Highest in team history. They spent money and traded a bunch of prospects this winter. If that doesn’t yield a playoff team, should probably look at the allocation of their resources first.
