This morning’s care home visit involved shaving off Mum’s whiskers.

I've come to bed...this is how you get old. Boring or lonely nights make you go to bed early and suddenly, it becomes a habit. Next thing you know, you're in your wyncette pajamas and in bed at 8.30pm, waking up at 4.45am and on social media complaining about everything because you've turned into some old fart who doesn't know how to enjoy themselves. The slope is slippery, my friends, very slippery. 👩‍🦳

@MissOnomy A right of passage. We used to have something similar at the back of our terrace, a footpath not a passage, until everybody blocked it off. It was restricted to the movement of bicycles, wheelbarrows and perambulators. Dogs had to go through their own house! 😆 x

Every evening after dinner my husband clears the plates and stacks all the dirty dishes on the worktop above the dishwasher. He puts all the cutlery in a mug. Stacks all the plates by size. Makes it all look (in his words) “tidy”. Every evening it annoys the shit out of me that he doesn’t just put them in the sodding dishwasher.

The last 3 guys I've been on dates with, all live within 500m of my house... Not great.. 2 of them drink in the same pub - Even worse! 1 no spark. 1 boring and rude. The other is great but doesn't feel ready to date..! FML! Officially. I quit! 😬😂🤷🤦
