@Lindley2 I wish it were the Island...those little guys are not where I hang out, they are quite wild here. The one I photographed was taken yesterday in tsawwassen. Sooo cute though!

@MarneeJill He is such an intense little guy 😀. Great shot. First one I ever saw was at Ewings Landing near Vernon. He was sunning himself on an old tumbledown roof. I also took a picture of him. Glad they're making a comeback on the Island.

Vancouver Island is sooo beautiful. I visited Mystic Beach, a couple of hours away from my home in Qualicum, and this is what I saw...
