okay while market was crashing, what happened? let’s do a quick recap: - $AMZN with a bond sale of $25B to fund AI capex - $META spokesperson saying that they’re hungry for more compute according to Bloomberg (lol) - again Bloomberg: China is allocating $294B to build data centers, a government led initiative. 80% of the core tech will be supplied by domestic companies. if you think this is bearish for U.S. suppliers, think again. race, full speed. - Samsung Q2 operating profit surged 19x YoY to $58.4B most profitable company on earth market thoughts: -20% or -40%, this is a shake-out. - if I had spare cash (spend it all last week unfortunately), I would hit that green button so hard that the green light to sky meme would become real being scared is for the top, being greedy is for the bottom and I’m telling you: there is nowhere better to park your money but AI infra for the rest of the year - humanoids? I don’t see any Sophia doing my laundry yet - hyperscalers? temporary rotation. why tf would I want my money invested in a company that keep spending while Samsung just became the most profitable company on earth? - software? same.
