@kilkeelan Lennox calves are great to get up and go! And so easily calved! Any aubracs calved down yet or did you keep any?

@TrevorFarrell12 It was the CMT test we did, just to identify the quarter! Culture test be interesting on her alright! Leaving her well enough alone now incase I put the mockers on her 😂

@MaroonRover Anything showing up at all when you test? One I had here showed up with Staph Aureus. Been dipping clusters in peracetic acid ever since. Not ideal to be keeping. Will be interesting to see final recording of the year in October to see will she hold or spike again

@davidm3329 She got Cepravin but also got same tubes the year before at drying off! Reckon it’s not staph as we’ve only a few high scc cows now! Think that would be spreading through them

@MaroonRover Have you staph aureus? It'd be interesting if you culture sampled from.her sometime and see does she have it. Its mad. What dry cow tubes did she get?

@TrevorFarrell12 Yeah Trev, same quarter the last couple of yrs. Never clots though have treated her in the past and she’d still show high on the next recording

@MaroonRover Would you have done any culture on her at all when she was high? Had one here 962 end of April, she was 176 end of July.

@davidm3329 Putting it down to the nice break she had 😆 Nothing actually done with her! Was expecting her usual high scc on first recording this year but she surprised us and kept it in the green

When 🐄 breeding season seems to be going on fairly ok/average for 6 weeks and then it all turns to shite 😬 out of nowhere a quarter of the herd have repeated in weeks 8 & 9 #carnage For all the advancements in genetics and mgt, cows are getting harder to get in calf 🤔

Outdoor solar stock camera is in a week now! I was very dubious, but I have to say it’s some job. Missus got it, as she was sick of driving up and down the lane checking bullers when I’m in Dublin

@bomberbannon 😂😂😂 I’ve it screwed into a plank of wood! It’s a temporary job till I’ve time to make up something better! But the whole job is very light and can be cable tied onto a fencing post or stuck in the middle of a hedge

@Dooleyjohnlad Once you have them in tight grazing blocks it will work savage John! Now roaming around 6 acres be a different story! You’d want a few of them then! Zoom wouldn’t be great on them
