A huge thank you to everyone that came and supported our event. We have raised a fantastic amount of money for Scouting and Guiding in Marple which will help so many young people in our community!

SOLD OUT! If you are coming in over the Iron Bridge a torch is essential. Stewards wearing High Vis vests will be available throughout the event - they are all volunteers - without them the event couldn't go ahead - please don't forget to thank them for giving up their time.

Thanks to local businesses for donating pallet wood for our bonfire. Our bonfire built from the donated wood will be lit at 19:00. There’s still a few tickets available at marplebonfire.co.uk.

In just two weeks we’ll be having our Bonfire and Firework display in Brabyns Park. Gates open at 18:00, with food and drinks stalls available. Plus there’s some live music before the bonfire. Some tickets are still available on our website - marplebonfire.co.uk.

We had some brilliant Guy entries. The winning Guy was made by 3rd Marple Brownies as it was colourful, topical and embraced tradition. Second place was made by 2nd Rangers which showed diversity and originality. Third place was 6th Marple Brownies and showed originality.
