Müzede asıl dikkat çekici husus ise bizim seccade olarak kullandığımız (tarihi eser kategorisinde olmayan normal seccade) malzemeler ile Katolik kiliselerinde dua etmek maksadıyla kullanılan ve “prie-dieu” denilen küçük ahşap mobilyaların kaplanmış olması. Seccadelerdeki Mescid-i Nebevi ve “Kabe” işlemeleri açıklıkla görülüyor. Bu ilginç etkileşimin detayları bir araştırma konusu. İtalya’daki Müslüman camiası başta olmak üzere İtalya çevrelerinde bu konu gündeme getirilebilir. Venedik Deniz Müzesi aynı zamanda Venedik’teki donanma biriminin karargahının yanı başında.++
