Adding to @lavidaNOTA’s comments about Zulu people not being Tribalists. Muvhango was created by Duma Ndlovu who is from KZN. He created, wrote & executive produced it. He could have just done another Zulu or Xhosa tv show for easy numbers but he focused on a smaller tribe.

What happens is that the sabc commisioner tells production houses what stories they want & the production houses follow the spec.There are complains that @Official_SABC1 is not doing enough diversity.
