my observation is that star wars fans seem to think theres some sort of revisionism to broaden the scope of glup shitto. the opposite is true. from the original post glup shitto was always about characters like this. the revisionism is the idea that it’s about background extras.

@Saboogus It also helps that they aren't beholden to higher up that give up as soon as something had an underwhelming release. Like who knows how many live service games that failed might've actually improved and found an audience if Sony or EA or whoever didn't scrap it immediately

Keeping an ear to the floor. Listen to feedback. Balance changes based on a middle ground. And most importantly, they play their own game.
They aren't perfect. A bit slow to the punch. And won't get things right the first time. But willingness to change is why it's still around.
