As someone who runs a center focused on religion and public life, I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to (continue to) be a topic of conversation in the years to come.

It was a pleasure to speak to brilliant young reporter (& @UChicago alum!) @CKubzansky for this @chicagotribune story. We talked a lot about narratives of modern disenchantment + how cloistered communities are sometimes read as relics of a truer, more pure past. It was a delight!
