Ive now been with the @Marsh_Lab_TVC for 10 years 🎉 I figured I would tally up the number of days I've spent at #TVC. I'm nearly at 600 days of tundra time ⛺!!! Most of that in the winter ☃️

We've been collecting climate and hydrological measurements out in the tundra since before I was born. Over 30 years of direct observations at the same locations allow us to understand the changing snow patterns in the region. This year is so far the highest ever recorded

It's wildfire season in the NWT, and we've been feeling it up at Trail Valley Creek! Fires along the Mackenzie have caused heavy smoke conditions around our camp, so we are staying in Inuvik and hiking to TVC when it's clear. Stay safe if you're doing NWT research this summer!

Happy #CanadaDay2023 from the diverse team of international researchers working from our Trail Valley Creek Research Station #TVC. Researchers from Germany, US, UK universities across Canada, and local #Inuvialuit all work together to understand the changing #arctic

Our team at #TVC has been hard at work measuring spring streamflow the over the past few weeks of melt! First beavers have also been spotted on a nearby lake.

International outreach at #TVC! We recently had the privilege of presenting to students attending @yissguardians in Seoul about our research and Arctic ecosystems. These presentations also included live demonstrations of an Ebee X launch and SWE coring!
