@BleedBNetwork As they should be. This is an embarrassment to UK. Go from one of the top programs in the country to not being able to get anyone to come here. Feels like the end of something.

@BRamseyKSR @WildcatsTongue You don't have to agree, time will tell, but this is gonna be a very bad team. There is no real scoring threat other than Wilkins no real shooters, gonna be a very low scoring offense and Pope doesn't play defense so I don't see how they win 10 games

As I always say, two things can be true at the same time. 1) I'm frustrated with how this off-season has gone and I'm very concerned about the general direction of Kentucky's recruiting ability. This is not a championship-caliber roster as currently constructed and the 'Cats either missed on, or were not involved with, the top names that COULD have created a championship-caliber roster. 2) This roster is NOT bad. I've echoed what @MattSakR2NG and others have said...if any other program landed Zoom Diallo & Alex Wilkins, along with Malachi Moreno, their off-season would be generating praise. There have been positional improvements at the 1, 2, 4, and 5 compared to last season. I think this team can be better and is more talented than last year's team...the issue is they needed to get quite a bit better and I think they've only gotten very marginally better. It is "only" May 4th. The roster doesn't need to be championship-caliber today and nobody hopes that it works out more than I do. However, due to the current track record, I am admittedly less than optimistic that the results will be what they are expected to be and NEED to be at Kentucky.

This UK basketball team is gotta be the oddest looking team at UK of all time. Pope is gonna have a Euro league team+ a couple D2 guys trying to win in the SEC. This is so bad.. Thank God we have Football now..

@NYGiantsRush Hoping both will have a long successful career as a NY Giant. Carter going into year 2. The Giants may not have needed a off ball LB but you pick blue chip prospects wherever they play. We got 2 in the 1st rd. Don't sleep on Reese, kids an animal.

I am curious about what the fans think about two recently drafted players. Back to back years Giants fans have heard the Giants secured the best defensive player in the draft. Who was a better prospect Carter or Reese? Will either of these players have DPOY qualities? Who will make the biggest impact in 2026? Did the Giants need an off ball linebacker?

I already knew, but Nike and Stokes visit with UK never meant anything. He was Kansas from day 1. This was just to get you all going ape shit

@JackPilgrimKSR @ScoopLexington Come on, you have covered Tyran Stokes for 3-4 years and always said that he wants to control the narrative. How would someone predicting his commitment and leaking it not help delay his timeline long enough for other teams to get in the mix?

Jacob Polacheck is one of the best talents to come through this industry in a long time and is an unbiased journalist through and through. Not for a second have I ever questioned his integrity or commitment to bringing anything other than facts to the table -- good, bad or ugly. He's excellent at what he does and the Kentucky beat is better with him on it. Period.

Stokes will never be spoken of again after today.. at least not from UK boards

Seriously not being negative, or hating on anyone, but I truly believe UK will be below . 500 on the year by a lot actually, and for sure will not make the tournament. We will be last years LSU, Ole Miss.

I'm seriously confused... UK has as much money as any school and yet we can't get anyone to come play for us. Is there any doubt at all the reason? I'm seriously asking, I can't see any other reason that a premier school with money can't get players. Unbelievable...

@WildcatsTongue And every player that was thought to be a new cat has also found a new home. This is the worst roster I think I have ever seen at UK. Wilkins will be the best player and he's nothing special

I said day day 1 we should have hired Pitino... I don't care what he did or didn't do, he's still my all time favorite UK coach. His teams were always good and played at a very high level And he's still doing it.
