No students were injured this morning when a Marshall County school bus was rear ended by another vehicle on Highway 68 at Baker Road. The driver of the bus was also uninjured. Marshall County Sheriff's deputies and school district administrators responded to the scene.

Our infant safety event "Meant to be Close" is tomorrow at the MC Public Library. We will have refreshments and prize giveaways, including gift cards, a Pack and Play Portable Crib and a Portable Booster. Attendees can also sign up for a baby bag full of goodies. See you there.

Time to celebrate! Marshall County High School just got a big boost from Casey's and its Cash for Classrooms grant program. We will receive $35,000 to install an awning outside our RISE program at the high school. @caseysgenstore

Marshall County Schools invites students, families, community members, and industry partners to attend an Open House celebrating the newly renovated Marshall County Technical Center on Tuesday, March 17th. We can't wait for you to see the future of technical education in action!

Marshall County is heading to Rupp Arena and will be in the 2026 UK HealthCare Boys’ Basketball Sweet 16®. The Marshals will play the 16th region champion Thursday, March 19 at 1:30 pm.

The Marshall County Board of Education has approved the date of May 22, 2026 as MCHS Graduation. Class Night is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st at 6:00 pm.

Kris Ray Named MCHS Boys Soccer Coach: As a member of MC Soccer, Ray was part of two MCHS Final 4 teams, with 3 regional & 4 district championships. After high school, Ray was JV coach during the 1993 & 94 seasons. He has either coached or been in soccer development for 30 yrs.

Today was Drive A Tractor to School Day at Marshall County High School. The event came on the final day of National FFA Week, which promotes agricultural awareness.

Calvert City Elementary students, their families, and school staff all got a little extra physical activity today during the school's Heart Healthy Walk!

Sarah Forsythe is the Lady Marshals new Golf Coach. Forsythe played collegiate golf at Murray State University from 2017-2021.She has been a teacher at MCHS for the past four years, teaching business classes, and was an assistant coach for the Lady Marshals this past season.
