This is a bit of a rant but it pisses me off seeing Americans comment about how 28-35C isn't that hot and that people from Ireland and the UK should stop complaining. Yeah. It's not hot for YOU! Here in Ireland and America, this is the hottest it's ever been. Today it reached 35C in the UK, the hottest the country has ever been in recorded history. If you grew up in a desert, good for you, you're used to the heat and can handle high temperatures. We cannot. We are used to cool weather, and can handle the cold extremely well. If you moved a penguin from the poles to somewhere like Spain, would you then tell the penguin to quit complaining because of the heat? No. Because the penguin was not BUILT for that heat. We may all be human but we are not all equipped to deal with the same environments. Those born in warmer climates can deal with the heat much better than those born in colder climates, their bodies are better suited to it. Try coming to our country during our coldest days. We'll be fine, but you'll be shivering. My partner @MrMooseGTS came to visit Ireland last July. Despite me considering it pretty warm, they were bundled up in warm clothing because they were freezing cold. They're from California. I never nagged at Moose for being cold, I just made sure they stayed warm, because I knew they weren't built for the cold, just like how we aren't built for the heat. That is all. Just got a bit niffed seeing Americans not understand that people born in cold climates can't handle heat.

You're essentially trying to wrangle a destructive force of nature, like a hurricane or tsunami.
