"Today I found this kid tied up with a bag next to him that had his things. I didn't think if I have space, if I have a job, what my husband will say or come on baby let someone else do it. I just took him, I told him it's okay that he is scared, that I understand and that everything will be fine. I am sharing the photo so everyone can see the look of terror, sadness and shock in his eyes. The animal is in shock just like a human child would be. Today we will become a family. I hope our hug heals this traumatic experience."

My beautiful, best beloved Mama Rose went on an hour ago. She had been abused, used as a fighting dog, breeder dog and bait dog then dumped, heavily pregnant on the road with her mouth duct taped shut. My friend rescued her and I adopted her and one of her puppies. She was the strongest, smartest, most elegant and beautiful girl in the whole world. She stopped really eating a week ago and after numerous vet visits and consults and worry it was found that she was very very sick. She would never show it, of course, being such a strong lady, but it took its toll. She will always be walking in spirit with me and her son on our 4 am walks , we have a standing appointment for those starlight walks. Love you forever Miss Delilah Rosalinda, you are no longer where you were, but you are everywhere that I am.

For the past 6 years, a dog named Capitan has slept in the grave of his owner every night. His owner, Miguel Guzman died in 2006 and Capitan dissapeared shortly after the family attended the funeral services. They searched everywhere and put out flyers to try and find him. But no one had seen him.
A week later, some people who were at the cemetery late one evening spotted Capitan laying on the grave and they contacted the grounds keeper at the cemetery. The cemetery notified the family who promptly came to pick him up and take him home. But each night he would cry and scratch frantically at the door to go out and he wouldn't return home until morning. It was later discovered that Capitan would walk the 3 miles back to the cemetery each night to guard his master's grave.
It has been 7 years now. The cemetery does not close the gates until he arrives each night promptly at 6 pm. He sleeps there all night guarding the grave until the ground keeper opens the gate in the morning. This is a true picture of Capitan here.

It's hot out! ☀️
Wolves, like dogs, stay cool by panting to evaporate heat + moisture off their tongue. The elongated muzzle + shape of the inner nose make an efficient cooling system. Wolves also alter their patterns of activity, staying hunkered down during the heat of the day.
