🚨 BREAKING: Wes Streeting will meet with Keir Starmer tomorrow to ask how he plans to “get us out of this mess” [@thetimes]

🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer has told Cabinet that he will not resign "As I said yesterday, I take responsibility for these election results and I take responsibility for delivering the change we promised. "The past 48 hours have been destabilising for government and that has a real economic cost for our country and for families. "The Labour Party has a process for challenging a leader and that has not been triggered. "The country expects us to get on with governing. That is what I am doing and what we must do as a Cabinet"

Ok but this doesn't happen. Barely any of the housing supply is owned by massive corporations. It's like. All the fault of small individual homeowners and landlords.

"Wait a moment"

At first it seemed like a shocking revelation that nation-building doesn't work, and for some reason we couldn't replicate what we did with the Axis Powers. But the original consensus was right all along: it does *work*, Iraq sucked because the Middle East just generally sucks.
