@BradyJames75955 Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory, not part of the UK itself. Northern Ireland is an integral part of the UK, sends MP’s to Westminster etc. It’s not hard to understand.

After this week's UK election,The Celtic tiger has awakened it's only objective is for two independent countries and a UK overseas territory of the north of Ireland is to leave it failing union in peace , If freedom comes with a cost then Westminster will have to pay 🇮🇪

@HighwaySqueak @That1984onTTWAR @PlaidExposed Scottish culture has contributed massively to the fabric of British identity. Britain is a shared identity shaped by all its nations, not just England.

@IrishUnity If you want economic uncertainty, weaker global influence, border and currency issues, pressure on public services, and years of political instability.

@HighwaySqueak @That1984onTTWAR @PlaidExposed All parties are Westminster parties and have seats in Parliament, that’s how sovereign states work. Devolution gives the nations within the UK the power to make decisions for themselves rather than all the decisions being made at Westminster.

@HighwaySqueak @That1984onTTWAR @PlaidExposed A dictatorship with regular competitive elections, opposition parties, devolved governments, an independent judiciary, and freedom of speech and press?

@HighwaySqueak @That1984onTTWAR @PlaidExposed The UK has constituencies which each roughly represent about 100,000 people. Are you suggesting that people in Scotland and Wales should get more representation than people in England? Thats not very democratic.

@Prae54Rae Joining the EU isn’t automatic. Most of Scotland’s trade is with the rUK, not the EU. Scotland would need to build a military and diplomatic infrastructure from scratch. The UK already has democratic protections. Energy prices are influenced by global markets.

I wonder why a Scottish party, in a Scottish election who responds to the needs of the people have been voted for in five consecutive elections? It’s a mystery. 😂😂 The next step, independence! 👇

@Prae54Rae Scotland would also have to cover all spending itself. Oil and gas revenues are volatile and declining long term. Nordic countries generally have higher taxes alongside stronger public services. Scotland will still have to implement spending cuts.

"In short, the outcome of Thursday’s British elections for here means a weakening of the power of the Westminster government to govern the UK, and a strengthening of nationalism’s leverage across these islands, but particularly here. "The pace of change in the disunited kingdom over the next couple of years will be dizzying." Read Brian Feeney: tinyurl.com/52nssnt5

@irish_news All the unionist political experts commenting on this post should have no problem with a democratic border poll to settle the matter then 😀

@That1984onTTWAR @PlaidExposed The UK is recognised internationally as a sovereign state with one central government, one seat at the UN, one currency, one passport, one military.
