All this “giving up my seat” bollocks annoys me. It’s not their seat - MPs occupy them by invitation. They’re our seats not to be traded or gifted by the occupants.

I was saddened to hear that David Burke died. 91 is a good age. For those who don't know him, he played the finest Dr. Watson with Jeremy Brett's (equally special) Sherlock Holmes. I loved that show.

Last year the Met & BBC downplayed the numbers on the UTK march, saying 110,000 & 150,000 respectively. The fact that Starmer has smeared the upcoming one as “far right” & the Met are deploying 4,000 officers & armoured vehicles tells me they grossly misrepresented the support last year & are anticipating upwards of half a million.

My lovely mother is 92 today..not too mobile but as bright as a button.She has just been telling me about during WWll hearing the bombers overhead on their way to London and later the sky aglow.Older people have a wealth of knowledge and stories well worth listening to.

Everyone at Arsenal is sad to learn that Peter Simpson has died, aged 81.
Peter was a major part of the 1970-71 Double-winning squad, making 478 appearances during his time at the club. All of us are thinking of his loved ones at this time.
Rest in peace, Peter ❤️
