Dear God, not Wes Streeting. The 1st gay PM should not be anti-Trans. What an awful indictment of the current Labour party

@Forthelols12 @davidyelland @FT Hmm. On first point, I think that’s because @davidyelland has to dial down in the “blokiness”and shared nostalgia since Simon Lewis got the push. Second, I think Fazana Baduel brings a fresh perspective from the “regular” PR world away from Simon’s “elite” Buck Pal and No 10 days

@davidyelland @FT Your enthusiasm on your bbc show has markedly dropped since Simon suddenly left mid series. The shows really rubbish now you don’t have a serious pr person who knows what they’re talking about contending your bizarre assumptions and claims

Gosh! When editing The Sun I sat on leaked honours lists as it was bad form not to, here the @FT of all papers says Barclays and Citi bosses recommended for honours in King’s birthday list.... Standards! Standards! giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/ac…

This is Lime Street or should I say Lime Bike Street. What an utter disgrace to our lovely City of London. These cycles are a plague and something must be done about it. @cityoflondon @limebike

@failtesheff @cityoflondon @limebike It’s not Lime Bikes that are the disgrace (they are very useful to many people). It is the way people with little or no community spirit leave them that is the disgrace.

I don’t know who does the PR for Panini FIFA World Cup stickers, but they’ll sleep easy tonight. Full item on BBC News at Ten with branding and credit (as well as a spread of other media) #GoodPR #PR #FIFA

Is it just me or do the key figures involved in the current London Underground RMT strike look like the bosses and trade union leaders of the high point of industrial disputes in the Seventies?

@davidyelland come on David! Vine is just making a fair comment about the BBC reality given its creative nature. You didn’t actually quote him. Gist is “I think basically it’s a very big, sprawling, creative organisation that is more like a disorganisation, and fundamentally it’s ungovernable.”

I love Jeremy Vine but when big BBC talent says big negatives about the BBC to big BBC-hating newspapers it saddens me. Imagine, for a moment, if Murdoch people poured such vitriol on Lachlan and Rupert. They are far more “ungovernable..” The company nearly folded under criminal scandal. But Murdochians mostly stay in line. They vent in private. Loyalty weighs. This is such a competitive advantage…

MAJOR CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED To change the behaviour of fly-tippers, they must feel the fear of being caught and prosecuted. That means catching them in the act. We're going to do that and force Councils to prosecute. Please share this post far and wide! crowdfunder.co.uk/p/enforcement-…

@mike56200 The thing is even on these dog owners’ “own terms” (ie being lazy) it’s easy to flick poo into a bush in the countryside side than pick it up in a bag, tie it up and hang on a beach. At least it will eventually rot down in the countryside if hidden but not in a bag.

This person hanging this poo bag is putting 2 fingers up to the world. Even the bag agrees. They weren't coming back for this no one was about here . They didn't want to carry it, a wet smelly bag. Why do this?

Last time I watched a rocket launch to the moon the commentators were Patrick Moore, James Burke and Cliff Mitchelmore. They brought more gravitas than the ex-astronauts and presenters we have today. Astronauts are not commentators. #Artemis

@davidyelland Interesting spin language used. “Dismantle” is pejorative; “crown jewel” is honorific. Imagine the inverse opening blurb: “BBC to streamline costly, inefficient department”. Where does the journalist use their own words, the corporation’s/press release words or the public’s?

@cleanupbritain I’m less concerned about this. It has not been discarded wilfully - it’s a process that’s gone wrong. Metal can be retrieved and sold for scrap. It’s not rotting as such, and there’s a certain naturalistic decency to scrap metal. Unlike McDonalds, KFC and Red Bull packaging.

This really is scandalous... All this roadside equipment was recovered from just one road. We reckon it's worth over £2,000, but it's just been abandoned. That is taxpayers money just left by the side of the road. Do these public bodies think money grows on trees??😡

@Abstractarts7 @cleanupbritain Not sure people will take McDonalds packaging to council waste disposal sites. But yes, free and easy access to them might help ease fly-tipping.

If Saturday Night Live was a BBC show Tim Davie would be spending his last days pursued by angry Fleet Street editors... it is awful..unfunny.. we do not need lessons from America on how to laugh... ⁦@BBCRadio4⁩'s The Naked Week so, so much better... bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…
