@MarketPalmer_ Move to most EU counties. State daycare in France & Belgium’s about €300 a month (and people still complain!). Prohibitively, career-blockingly, expensive daycare costs are pretty much limited to the UK, Australia & USA. Not sure why, given labour’s expensive in Europe too.

We only have 2 kids, and our daycare expense is outrageous. I have no idea how single parents or poorer households make it work.
