I watched Celtic live in the stadium yesterday, and from the very first whistle, one player immediately stood out. The 22-year-old Dane Murray. After checking his profile, I saw that the Scottish, right-footed centre-back is 1.93m (6’4”) tall. With it being my first time seeing him live, there was real curiosity about how that physical presence would translate on the pitch. And I was impressed. Defensively he showed real security. Played a few safe long balls, cleared and recovered situations. In duels he looked very strong, both in the air and on the ground. Physically dominant but also composed. He has only played around 650 minutes this season. He needs more games. Interesting player.
