Wie zufrieden seid ihr mit Lindner als Bundeskanzler?

Die @DB_Bahn behauptet in der App und an der Hotline, dass der NJ403 heute nicht in Köln Messe/Deutz oder vorher hält. @unsereOEBB Hotline weiß davon nichts. Was stimmt? Komme ich heute Nacht nach Basel?

@MartinOtten Laut meinen Infos wird der NJ 403 / IC 60403 erst ab Frankfurt eingesetzt. Solltest du eine Zugbindung haben, ist diese aufgehoben und du kannst auf eine andere Verbindung ausweichen. /an

@stilkov My observation is that people in general jump to the solution space too early, instead of understanding problems and goals first. We love "solutions", they are so easy.

Seeing people either over-hype some approach or quickly dismiss the choices made by others can become quite frustrating. Always assume people had very good reasons for their decisions at the time they made them. 2/2

Boring take: It’s extremely convenient to treat software architecture/technology decisions as if there were simple truths. But there’s really nothing that’s a good solution everywhere, and there are very, very few approaches that are almost always bad. 1/2

@katafrakt_pl How reliable is the communication? How eventual is the consistency? If a server's owner puts rules in place for posting, how does that impact messages that come in from other servers?

Do Mastodon servers talk to each other reliably (or at all)? I'm a bit nervous about the choose-a-server thing. (I'm not planning on leaving Twitter, but I am investigating alternatives just in case.)
