Someone tries to set up an account for one of my companies and @Wise support suggests, as if I am an idiot, that I might have forgotten that I set one up…. Tech companies really do take the biscuit sometimes….

@Wise I can't as I don't have an account, I have never had an account, and you require a log in and / or I cannot find the number and I don't have days to search web pages. You say you care but you really don't and your staff are the most insulting I have come across in a long time

@MartinRSpiller If you'd like to give us a call then you can do so from this page here: wi.se/help (2/2)

@Wise I have confirmed this multiple times and their offensive replies continue. Do you train your people or just pick some randoms off the street? I will be following up with the Financial Ombudsman and the service is atrocious and the fact there is no number to call is unreal!
English

@MartinRSpiller We completely understand the dissatisfaction with this situation. It's certainly not the experience we intend to provide, nor is it the standard we strive for. Please confirm with our team that you indeed did not open the account so they can assist you further.
English

@Wise I have told them twice I didn't and yet they insist on telling me I might have and forgotten. I know I am old but I am not yet being put out to pasture, forgetting my name, my banking arrangements and when to go to the bathroom!

@MartinRSpiller We hear your frustrations, Martin. Your security is our priority, and we want to ensure your business info is protected. If you didn't open this account, please confirm that with our team so we can check further and assist you with the next steps.
English

@Wise Well you've done it again as today I received from Olivia "From my experience in Wise, some of our customers failed to recall that they have a Wise account simply because they created it a long time ago or it simply slips from the memory"... Brilliantly insulting
English

@MartinRSpiller It’s never our intention to make you feel that way — our goal to always ensure you're supported. We understand how concerning this is. Since you’ve reported the issue, we'll get back to you with updates when we have it or you can always reach out to us here: ...
English

@Wise Hey. I did that. Reported it. And your team member suggested I might have set it up and forgotten. Pretty insulting stuff… rather than oh dear. Let’s shut it down…
English

@MartinRSpiller Hey there. We hear you — we may ask those questions to verify and confirm for account security purposes. If a business account was opened without your consent, do reach out to us here: wi.se/help and our relevant team can take a closer look for you.

Totally dumbstruck. Family next to me at breakfast. Husband and two kids sit down. Wife stands and waits for hotel staff to move a chair. The hubbie is no powerlifter but surely he can move a fucking chair…. #entitled

This shouting, jeering and even joking during the #ukbudget is embarrassing and unseemly when you are playing with people’s prospects, fortunes and lives. Very uncool and shows how the political class feel about us!

Most SMEs still operate without doing the core basics.
Values, set your rulebook and your vision, the where you want to go, sets your destination.
You wouldn’t drive across the country without a sat nav, so how do you expect to run a business without one?

AI is brilliant, but if you let it think for you, you are finished. Same tools, same prompts, same output. That cannot be an edge, as it is laziness dressed up as progress...
