For imu, while the overall reveal as new, the concept of the reveal was always in the background where-as in naruto, the concept of a moon alien lady was never implied. In one piece a secretive global ruler was always at play, in naruto it was really was just a "uhhhhhh moon lady".

idk, i didnt know the comics so a cute spunky tech girlie fighter is never a bad thing for me. It sounds to me though this was a directors cut thing, where they realized they made yet another mark character, and with oliver, omni man, alan, all in the fray it was just getting too same'y. I know that if "I" wrote this i think later I would have also changed it most likely to keep the current mission cast more interesting. So i dont think this was a blue hair complaining in the office this time, it probably was just a "hmm, id like to change that this time" kinda deal.

@ACeilingFa8560 @SpartanOfWar01 breathing isnt the issue though he was running out on top of it all by not having time to breath when mark got him. Mark mostly cut off the blood flow to his brain which, admittedly took quite a bit. Conquest basically ran out the clock to the last second fighting.

I do like how she is someone that oliver can get along with then yet another dude, in most cases id say its woke, but in this one their reasoning is sound. They basically didnt want yet another mark, it was already a sausage fest and they wouldnt bring anything to a scene. Might have worked in the comics but in animated form I can see them genderswapping this one. I actually thought they WERE mark in a tech suit for how close they looked in the comic.
So this feels more like a directors cut, and not a censorship action, i know its hard to tell the difference but I can kinda see it here. Like how a writer was like, ya know, i kinda didnt like how that turned out and i got another shot at it kinda thing.
