GT Official Statement We would like to address recent comments made by a former GT professional player - @yenssney regarding their departure from the organization. First and foremost, GT has always been committed to supporting its players and providing opportunities that reflect their value. The player in question was one of the highest-paid players within our roster structure, receiving a level of support and compensation that exceeded what many organizations in the scene currently offer. Unfortunately, after receiving a competitive ban for teaming, the player chose to compete on an alternate account while representing another organization. This directly violated GT's rules, standards, and contractual expectations regarding professionalism, exclusivity, and organizational representation. As a result of these actions, GT made the decision to remove the player from the organization. This decision was not made lightly, but it was necessary to protect the integrity of our team and uphold the standards that all GT players are expected to follow. We are aware that misinformation and misleading claims have been shared regarding the circumstances surrounding this departure. We encourage our community to be cautious when accepting one-sided accounts of the situation. The facts remain that the player breached GT's rules and represented another organization while under obligations to GT. GT will continue to operate with professionalism, transparency, and fairness. We remain focused on supporting our players, growing our organization, and maintaining the standards that have helped build our reputation.
