Let’s be honest, we’re just not good enough right now. I hope Pep leaves and takes the remaining bench players and aging squad members with him. The club needs a fresh start with a new coach, new tactics, and a new mentality — someone who can actually develop young players and build for the future. We also need a manager who prioritizes defending, because our weak defense has embarrassed us in the UCL time and time again, and we keep gifting teams easy goals PL.
His refusal to properly rebuild the midfield and the constant reliance on Rodri has also cost us badly. Rodri is getting older and becoming more injury-prone, so depending entirely on him is not a real solution. It feels like it’s either Rodri or no midfield at all, and that approach has led to two seasons of embarrassment in both the UCL and the Premier league.

there was no way you’re walking out of the Hill Dickinson stadium as a City player thinking there was any hope left. unless you’re Doku or Haaland no way. that was the final nail in the coffin. total title race death. total death. just go and win that FA Cup now. finish the season with the double. don’t risk players in any of the remaining games. don’t. it’s either the FA Cup or lose it all.

We’re in this situation because of his ego. He chose to stick with the old core instead of refreshing the squad, and because of that we missed out on plenty of good players on the market. He held onto Walker and Akanji for too long until they were past their best, and he doesn’t seem patient enough to properly develop players. He also pushed to keep Savio and wanted Tijjani and Aït-Nouri, even though both look too physically weak for the Premier League. On top of that, we keep getting exposed in the UCL every season because of his stubborn high-line tactics.
English

We’re playing without a proper holding midfielder or defensive midfielder, and because of that we have no control in midfield. Even Rodri was terrible against Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham — his only good performances came against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and at the Etihad. On top of that, our defence is awful; none of the defenders are truly world class. Donnarumma has been poor as well. This team needs a complete rebuild — too many useless bench players need to go, and Pep needs to leave too. I’m fed up with him and the same predictable tactics every season. Compare that to Enrique at PSG, whose tactics actually adapt depending on the opposition. Ten years for just one Champions League isn’t good enough.
English

We’ll only win if we strengthen the squad and Pep leaves, because otherwise nothing will change. As long as we keep playing a high line and allowing teams to get in behind us so easily, we’ll keep getting punished. Honestly, we’ll just keep getting embarrassed in the Champions League, and Premier League managers already know exactly how to exploit Pep’s tactics. I’m gutted that the wins against Arsenal at the Etihad and Liverpool away ended up meaning nothing, all because Guehi messed things up. Both him and Pep have to take responsibility for this.
English

We’re just not good enough, and Pep hasn’t been good enough either. Maybe this finally marks the end for him — because if he’d won the league, there’s no way the club would’ve moved on. Losing it might actually push him to leave. We’ve spent the whole season without a proper holding midfielder, the squad depth is poor, the defense has been shaky, and we offer almost nothing going forward.
Anyways, it’s a World Cup year — in the end, no one really remembers the club winners, only the World Cup winners.

@banafsaji Starlink to the rescue it has to be mandatory implemented by all

Pep has players who can thrive in transition, but does he use them? Nooo. He keeps insisting on the high line, which leaves us exposed in midfield and defense, and we keep getting punished on the counterattack. Same old story in the Premier League and the Champions League — one of the main reasons we keep getting knocked out. At this point, his tactics are getting exposed, and even inexperienced managers are outcoaching him in the second half.

Viana did perfect signing, we just need to change the manager 🌚

Viana is not recruiting the right players to fit the team = I don't like the player they signed.
