Tonight, we ask that you keep retired police dog Bane, who served with Cambridgeshire Police as a general purpose and firearms support dog for six years, in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏 Our team has spent the day with him and his family at a specialist veterinary practice due to a sudden decline in his health, and it is with great sadness that, following extensive tests, Bane has been diagnosed with an incurable form of cardiac cancer. He is remaining at the vets overnight and will be spending the coming weeks and months making extra special memories with his family, while being supported with additional treatment funded by the Foundation. For six years you served with courage and loyalty, Bane. Now it is our turn to stand with you and your family every step of the way. 🐶🇬🇧🚔💙

@sharrond62 I got rather excited last night, when my son said "A heads up for tomorrow, Mum" - I wasn't expecting it to be followed with the words "I'm going to clear out the garage".

Retired police dogs soon learn to relax and enjoy their retirement to the full 🐾 RPDs Shadow & Ronnie are definitely enjoying the luxury of now living in the house and being properly spoilt after their years of service. @Linesy8 Unbelieveable decision, Chris. I've really enjoyed following Corsham Town's progress this season. A big mistake, and, sadly, it is their loss. Onwards and upwards to the next adventure.

Before anything appears elsewhere, I want to briefly address this myself. The club has decided to bring in a new/old manager and have asked me to step aside and remain as a player. This decision makes no sense to me, a lot of my players and I’m sure a lot of others, but ultimately it’s the one that has been made. After the last 5-6 months and the work I’ve put in building this squad and creating a winning mentality with results to prove, that’s not something I’m comfortable with, so my time at Corsham has come to an end Winning 12 of our 17 games and putting the club back in a position to achieve our end goal is something I’m incredibly proud of, in my first stint at management. The lads bought into everything we were trying to build and their effort and commitment has been top class I’m gutted I won’t get the chance to finish the job I started, but it’s been a privilege working with such a great group of players, staff, volunteers and everyone involved…I thank you all @CorshamTownFC New challenge awaits ❤️

Made an error 2 weeks ago. It wasn’t last pre Crufts Dog Show. @Dog won 1st place in today’s show in Oxford. That’s 2 1sts in a row leading up to Crufts 2026. And in better news today’s victory automatically qualifies him for Crufts 2027👍 Pictured here watching fav TV show 🤣

@Mary_Surry Thanks Mary.Yes Cancer Centre is so good with such caring staff,I have a Cancer Nurse who explaines everything she’s great.They’ve delayed giving me Chemo this time as they feel the longer I stay off it the better for me at the moment.
