Yesterday I heard @VDHanson say “Iran is broke” is and predicts the regime “won’t be so stupid… to start giving 50, 60 million dollars a month to Arab terrorists… when the people are starving,” after having “lost probably a half a trillion dollars of a 50‑year investment in their military, industrial, nuclear industries.” That logic assumes the regime cares about its own people. It does not. It has an apocalyptic mindset, is deeply corrupt, and is willing to let Iranians starve and the infrastructure and economy collapse just to survive and outlast President Trump. This is the same regime that pays Lebanese families 12,000 dollars each and rebuilds their homes, including carpets and stoves, while Iranians who lose everything in war get nothing. They proved long ago they are the enemy of the Iranian people. Iranians are nowhere in their equation, and apparently the Iranian people are nowhere in anyone’s equation. Merci à notre ministre Maxime Prévot : après notre demande de convoquer l’ambassadeur de la République islamique pour répondre à ces exécutions, il nous a répondu qu’il était “très inquiet”. Pendant que vous êtes “inquiet”, ils exécutent, Monsieur le Ministre. Je vous souhaite une excellente journée avec cette pensée : votre silence face aux crimes de la République islamique vous rend complice. Une augmentation d’1 euro du pétrole ne vaut pas la vie de 600 innocents en deux mois (uniquement des exécutions).
