The thing about taking the wealth of innocent orphans isn't because I don't want them punished. It's that the whole premise behind it is wrong as I've already explained. She wants that as a punishment for something their family's did NOT as a punishment for him hiding the truth
Fair enough but not a single EsDil has answered that question, personally I think because there's no answer, they did do it to themselves 🤷♀️

LOL you already kept defending him. You dug deep into his childhood. The whole thing was "Oruc stayed silent cuz esme stopped him" when it was all his choice. You kept saying how they will take the wealth of innocent orphans .. if he should be punished then then what are we even arguing here lol.
I didnt cuz as I said i already answered before. and i dont convince ppl of ships thats just not smth i do tbh.
English

I guess you didn't watch the scene in front of the health centre where both brothers were like enough is enough?? And Esme gave them this pleading look? Or ep10 when she sits down with all of them and tells them to be quiet till she can find a way to soften Adil's heart?
BTW Esme also stopped Ilve and Gezep...
nouhayla@gusuiann
so idk where does this whole esme stopped iso and oruç from telling the truth bullshit came from, they CHOSE to protect their mother and kept protecting her after everything at the expense of esdilel and even now they are trying to help her run away lol

Ummm I'm fine with Oruç paying a price 😭😭😭
I hate him BTW because he's a loser who played around with Sevcan for 6 MONTHS then fell in love with Eleni at first glance (how does that even work 🤡) then flirted with her while he was engaged, confessed on the verge of getting married AFTER he'd taken the most precious thing he could from her when he'd sworn he'd find her family for her because he was jealous of Adil 😭😭😭
Please don't make me defend him
But you haven't answered my question...
English

@MaryamGeeee ur a fan of people taking responsibility for their actions? like you know oruc paying the price for his involvement in this? 😭 its too easy to put everything on Şerif, Zarife, Şirin and Hicran I agree. which is our main argument in the first place.
English
Maryam retweetledi

1. Valid point
2. Whoah, I'm not blaming victims, BUT I am a fan of people taking responsibility for their actions, it's too easy to put everything on Şerif, Zarife, Şirin and Hijran, so if you understand how EsDil didn't have a single conversation or proper confrontation over 20 YEARS then please explain
GIF
English

let me use your own words lol : since kocari’s obviously not going to stop their revenge then i guess oruc should take what he gets instead? especially since initially this was oruc wanted, to pay the price. And I repeat the WORST thing you could do to Furtunas is to take their power and money away from them. See how that works? 😂
You’re able to blame the victim and not the guilty easily cuz they have a heavy past. But understanding esdil is too deep somehow.. as i said thats fine.
English

I agree he doesn't get to decide but since he's obviously not going to stop protecting them take what you can get, especially since initially this was what Adil wanted, to exile them. And I repeat, this is the WORST thing you could do to Zarife. Also you have a death threat hanging over your head by a guy you claim makes Şerif look like an angel. So, bigger problems.
And yes, I haven't been able to figure out how 2 intelligent people in love living so close to each other couldn't have a single conversation or proper confrontation.
GIF
English

but that’s not how things work. He doesnt get to decide the punishment. that just doesnt make any sense lol. specially if he’s doing it behind their backs. If Oruc came to them and tried to make a deal then maybe.. but this way.. he involved himself.
What is overdoing it though? like literally no one knows anything except they want to strip the family of their power. And separate Zarife from them. No one even mentioned Oruc but fans are already lashing out at all the victims.
Im not honestly gonna dive into furtuna’s effect on the esdil relationship cuz its too easy to understand. I didnt say they are the sole reason. I said they are the main reason that started it all. If you’re able to dig this deep to figure out Oruc’s character, then this shouldnt be this hard. Ur opinion about them is yours though. i wouldnt argue with that. I find them epic you dont thats fine.
English

I saw a Turk say that he told Omar then told Şerif Omar knew manipulating him into killing his father's murderer and getting revenge for him while keeping his hands clean. So he feels indebted to him and that's why he's helping him. And because he betrayed his family by telling Omar and caused his uncle to be imprisoned he was sent away and they don't talk about him.
The obvious holes:
1. How could Esme send Fatih to the guy who killed his dad just 2 years ago?! Unless they were close and she thought that would be enough? But even that doesn't make sense.
2. Why does Oruç hate him and İso not talk about him?
I hate these writers sometimes. I really hope they have good explanations
ER@Rambleh20
Wait a damn minute: Why tf would Fatih agree to go tip off his father's literal murderer about his grandchild....?!?!? #tas
English

I did say ignore his reason for doing it because it's not important, the outcome is, in the end both get what they want, EsDil get Zarife and Şirin stripped of their power and Oruç gets them safe.
We both agree Oruç is OK with being the one getting punished, you said it a few tweets ago, my problem is not overdoing it because if they go too far they start to look like the bad ones and when Oruç and İso fight back and the enmity starts again nobody should complain or be surprised.
Yes they're powerful but as I said once Şerif went to prison who'd really be able to stop them if they wanted to get together? Especially as Adil was the Koçari reis by then.
What happened at the start of the dizi was related to Eleni and covering her up. And not related to my point at all.
My point is EsDil chose to stay apart. Just like you want Oruç and İso to accept the consequences of their actions why shouldn't the same be said of young EsDil? Yes the Furtunas separated them but they themselves were the reason they stayed apart. One chose to become a ghost and the other to take refuge in his anger. And this anger isn't something that was made by the Furtunas. It's always been in him and Şerif took advantage of that to get him locked up for 2 years and out of the way.
BTW everyone kept on asking this at the beginning. How did they live so close to each other for 20 years and still not have a single proper conversation? Did Adil never ask himself how Esme could have married so quickly when 2 days ago she was running away with him? Did it never click with Esme that if he actually hated you why isn't he moving on with someone else? How could they not have had a proper confrontation? That takes some real work. Sometimes I like to say EsDil don't have a legendary love story. They have a legendary holding grudges and stubbornness story.
English

Oruç isn't exiling them.. he's protecting them from getting any punishment. thats what Sirin wanted for Serif.. thats not fair. he doesnt get to decide their punishment. It's not his 'right of blood'. He either takes their punishment himself or let the real criminals get it. These are the 'rules' they all play by.
They had enough influence to sell a baby low key. fake a baby's death. fake a plan ride ticket. buy witnesses. They were powerful.
Şerif, Zarife and Hicran stole their lives. that's not a misconception lol. that's the main plot of the dizi. they did it to 2 young ppl. Everything that happened afterwards, the way these 2 young kids' lives changed, how their characters were shaped, as a broken woman and a destructive man was a consequence of that event.
The reason esdil arent together wasn't cuz adil made her jealous lol that just added to the pain. It's interesting to me how you were able to understand why Oruc is the way he is since his childhood, his burdens..etc but somehow failed to understand that what Furtunas did to those young kids changed their lives forever..
let's forget about all that for a second. how about all the interferences since the dizi started? does that not count too? the kidnapping, attempted murders of each one of them, changing DNA tests, blackmail..etc that's still not on them?
It's as simple as this. If Furtunas didnt interfere. Esdil would've lived the happy life that was stolen from them. Their not the sole reason. But their the main reason that started a butterfly affect.
English

Firstly since Oruç is voluntarily exiling them (whatever his reasons are) let him! He's saving you from a massive headache and letting you focus on Timur as well as taking away what Zarife loves the most, her power in Furtuna.
Second of all, there's this misconception going around that Şerif, Zarife and Hijran stole their lives.
So I'm going to address the elephant in the room.
The Furtunas - that is- Şerif, Hijran, Zarife and Şirin DID NOT steal 20 years from #EsDil. Let's be realistic. The four of them separated them and three of them stole their daughter's life and sold her. But when Şerif was imprisoned, there were no obstacles between them.
No one told Adil to cling to Hijran after he got out of prison, and no one forced Esme to choose silence EVERY SINGLE TIME. They were conscious adults and the only person who could carry out the threat was in prison. (Let's not forget that neither Şerif nor Zarife had the influence they have today and that they didn't have anyone to carry out their orders. And Şirin wasn't really an issue. Moreover Adil was the Koçari reis and powerful enough to protect them)
Instead of confronting each other and fighting for each other Adil and Esme chose silence and resentment. They're the ones who wasted 17 or 18 years of their lives. They're not children to avoid taking responsibility for their actions.
I don't know why everyone believes this, but it seems to be because of Ulaş and Deniz's acting, which is nothing short of phenomenal, especially Deniz's. They literally made us forget that they were adults and that they were the ones who turned their backs on each other! Like even I believed it when the Ön İzleme for ep22 dropped. When Esme's crying saying they stole our lives. They stole their lives together as a family yes but not Esme and Adil's. And anyway even before that if she had only told Gezep the truth you think he wouldn't have hidden her? Instead she asked him to take her to see Adil while she was in a wedding dress! And it was likely after the ceremony because her dress was all muddy. EsDil's biggest enemies are themselves.
English

we keep circling around the same point. Esme wants the wealth and power of the family that stole their lives. If Oruc and Iso dont want to be included in that, then they should've stopped protecting the criminals..would they be willing to let them rot in prison like they were going to do to Adil even after knowing what their family did to them? No.
It's either face the consequences of those criminals or stop protecting them. Dont worry they wont die of hunger, that wouldn't be the intention. the point is to take the power that this family used for evil away from them.
Adil initially did what u want, made sure Oruc would be the new leader of furtunas. But Oruc still chose to protect his criminal family. Tamam. that's his choice. But the alternative you want, is take the money away from Zarife, but let Oruc have that power as if he wont end up helping them again 😅
English

I agree with everything you said except the last part, if you mean Esme wanting the Furtuna wealth then yes I'm totally against that because she wants that in return for the 20 years her arms were empty and Oruç and İso were 5 & 8 and had NOTHING to do with it. All the Furtuna wealth belongs to the two of them literally. So by doing that she's punishing two innocents and as we've been putting it she's eyeing the wealth of orphans!
Also to take away Zarife and Şirin's power all you need to do is take them away from Furtuna which is what they're planning to do but apparently that's not good enough because they didn't choose that punishment this time...
Oruç is literally planning exile for his mother and grandmother...
What more do you want from him?
English

- him picking his mother is his right. with or without his tragic past. he just needs to face the consequences. he knows he will. his fans arent ready.
- Oruc saving lives when he's a doctor is the bare minimum let's not make that to be a big deal. him saving gezep was a bigger deal than this.
- I said it so many times, Esme protected her sister after punishing her herself. twice. more importantly, she PAID THE PRICE herself. that's the difference. protect ur family all u want, but make sure ur willing to face THEIR consequences.
- I think sevcan needs to punished even more but they simply dont care about her character that much. she's not a 'lead'. u think esme's fans would cry scream if they decided to punish sevcan again? u think anyone would defend her? Nope. no one would care. that's the difference.
- if we're bringing religion into this, then u also know that u obey ur parents unless it's a sin against God. no one plays by these rules in this dizi. so let's not lol.
- Oruc knows he's wrong, knows he protected the wrong people. is willing to face the consequences. Oruc is not the problem. the fans are.
- Because Esdil fans thought that maybe after seeing the person he loves scream bloody murder, get kidnapped and almost killed because of these two, that maybe just maybe, they'd think to stop protecting them. ama yok. still the same thing. so let's not rage when they take away their power. which is the punishment 'evil' esme asked for 😅
English

The whole thing boils down to this:
Protect our mother or tell the truth
And they chose their mother which is NORMAL
I'm one of Oruç's biggest haters, but don't forget that Zarife treated him like royalty till he was 28. Then he discovered his mother trafficked a BABY, BUT she's still his mother.
No one sells out their mother that easily. No one can ignore their mother kneeling at their feet, begging them to protect her from their greatest enemy. Especially when they grew up with that enemy burning their livelihoods every day when they had no one to protect them. The father of their greatest enemy had murdered their father 20 years after he murdered their grandfather when they were 3 & 6. 2 years later their only male relative was in prison. Their older brother gone. And they grew up with the burden of protecting their mother and grandmother since then.
Even so Oruç still saved Adil's life after Esme shot him then İso after the accident even though his mum told him not to tell anyone.
And let's not forget that Oruç saw İso being thrown to the goats right in front of him, and Adil didn't hesitate for a second (regardless of whether İso deserved it or not).
Just as Esme protected her sister who tried to kill an innocent girl, they protected their mother. Is a mother less important than a sister?!
Also please don't tell me she beat Sevcan around a bit
Eleni was the one who punished Sevcan not Esme.
Sevcan tried to kill Eleni, collaborated with Sherif, kidnapped her nephew to prevent Esme from getting a divorce, passed information onto Zarife and Sherif, and nearly killed her sister.
And her punishment was a beating, a broken engagement, and Esme giving her the side eye??
Neither Esme nor Emine really did anything to her. Knowing they have the video that could send her to jail and her whole motive is MONEY?! Are you kidding me?
If that's the case then why are people so mad at İso and Oruç for protecting their MOTHER?! We have a saying, paradise lies beneath the feet of your mother. That is so ingrained in every Muslim (sorry for bringing religion into this but I didn't know how else to phrase this) that for them to do anything else would be a betrayal of everything they know!
From a neutral observer's perspective, Oruç was wrong, but from his own perspective, he had NO other option.
And the fake mother thing didn't come from his own head; Şerif planned it, and he went along with them for the reasons I mentioned. Oruç's biggest mistake wasn't any of this and it isn't why he's despicable. His biggest mistake is that, despite what he knows he did to her, he couldn't man up and leave Eleni alone. He was constantly around her and flirting with her while he was engaged and afterwards, even though he knew what he'd stolen from her.
So while they will try to stop their mother and grandmother's plots they won't sell them out that easily.
Also why all the EsDil's are so up in arms about them wanting to get their mother and grandmother away is beyond me. Wasn't this what Adil initially wanted? Also do they not realise that what Zarife loves the most is power? If you take her away from Furtuna all her power disappears and she can't plot against the Koçari's anymore. Not only that they have bigger problems - Timur.
English

@Rambleh20 I actually totally agree with you about Oruç. The least he could do after making his choice was stay away because apart from Adil only he knew the extent of what he stole from her by denying her her family. There were things she told him she didn't even tell Adil.
English

@MaryamGeeee ++ instead of maintaining the distance that such guilt would cause. If he can get all up in Elenis face and flirt with her but only has a breakdown when she reminds him of the secret & plays with his nerves, its hard to feel sorry for him. Ppl need to stop mollycoddling these men
English

@Rambleh20 I don't see him choosing to protect İso as a problem when he saw his brother almost die right in front of him 🙃
English

@MaryamGeeee The 1 thing she wanted from them was to not tell Şerif & Hicran (the literal criminals/perpetrators) so that she could catch them off guard. Also when he struck a dead end, Oruç was ready to reveal her secret instead of Iso's & throw her (& himself) under the bus to protect Iso
English

You're correct when you say they were relieved then but later on when they slowly realised that no Adil isn't a monster ofc it was a major factor. These kids grew up with Adil burning their family's tea fields every day. While Adil had 18 years with his dad they didn't even get half that. They grew up with the mindset of we need to protect our mother and grandmother from this crazy guy because there's no one else to. So when they finally realised that he was just as hurt as them because of this enmity and in his own way he's a good guy ofc they felt guilty. Especially Oruç because he was the one involved from the beginning. And don't forget him swearing to Adil that when Şerif goes to prison he'll tell him the secret. And while İso was also protecting his mum he was mainly protecting his brother by keeping quiet. The last time they thought he knew Adil almost threw him to the goats in front of Oruç. And remember when he played heads and tails with Zarife? How he told her that while Oruç was protecting her she was burying him with her own hands? How convinced he was that the main burden would fall on Oruç when they were discussing it on the boat?
English

@MaryamGeeee ++ for a while (for completely different reasons), they all breathed a sigh of relief because that was the only part of her plan that aligned with theirs. Why would she stop them from saying it when that was clearly the last thing they intended to do anyway ++
English

@EgyptDiva @gusuiann Because Oruç swore to Adil after Şerif was sent to prison he'd tell him the secret?
English

Sorry to jump but Ep 10 she told them she will stay quiet. Not them. They already never planned to tell her or him. The scene ur referring to she planned to tell him the next day but because oruc didnt want iso to tell adil about him and fadime he wanted to “selfishly” sacrifice that secret first. If iso and oruc didnt tell esme the secret for her sake or eleni’s.. then what makes yall think they’d say it for adil’s sake 😂
