Under our "Plant for Punjab" initiative, we have successfully planted over 50 million trees in just two years to restore ecological balance and build urban forest rings. Through our Model Villages Program, more than 2,000 villages are being transformed across Punjab with clean drinking water, with sanitation, sewage, drainage, paved streets, and solar infrastructure. In Baku tonight, time stood still for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. At Sehrli Təndir, old city restaurant she found a photograph on the wall of her mother, Kulsoom Auntie alongside Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, from their 2016 visit to Baku, Azerbaijan displayed among world leaders and heads of state who had visited the restaurant over the years. An emotional and deeply nostalgic moment.
The same warmth. The same honour. The same place. Nearly a decade later, a daughter walked into a memory her mother had once left behind. ❤️
