Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi’s contract as KZN Police Commissioner is set to end on the 30th of March 2026 leaving him with just two weeks left off the contract. Mkhwanazi said that there were negotiations that started in January 2026 however nothing has been confirmed yet whether his contract will be renewed or not.
