@philhaigh_ I dont understand the pocket sizes in certain parts of the world. Is it because ‘big breaks are better for the viewers’? Is it the relatively new audience&production teams in China feel this is the case? It seems at odds to how truly experienced snooker people understand the game

A few things can be true at once, obviously. Great tournament, brilliant final, immense stuff from Thepchaiya and Ronnie, very enjoyable. But this isn't good stuff. The Spaceman is crestfallen! The last thing you want is a crestfallen Spaceman.

Been thinking, the fact that there is so much chat around the current owner investment situation at #Pompey and not solely around how poor results have been, surely shows that there IS a problem. Usually it’s the manager & players that take the heat, that’s not been the case.

@Luke313131 I go in there and literally there is nothing I fancy buying. I know it’s not just me either. What % of adults actually want Pompey training kit? 2/3rds of the shop is walls of replica kits. Great, but more discreet fashion stuff would sell. It’s just not targeted right.

@Luke313131 It seems that they let it run as a ‘community club’, which has its charm, but it needs some1 with a more global view. How about smarter polo shirts? Not massive branded tshirts and stuff u c down a market on knockoff Sunday. Seems its for 1 demographic. And adult onesies? Come on

And for the record, I truly do want the Eisners to succeed. I believe they are good people. I just can’t understand what’s going to change for things to change. There are missed opportunities; even with merchandise. He’s Mr Disney, the greatest merch sellers in history! #pompey

@CharlieFarnsba9 Interesting. But he still must know how to build income from merch! That aside, Spurs today have done a full support parade @Limmy05. Maybe Pompey can and will do similar.

@pompeycrest @Limmy05 I see the point on match fitness. But my point is, why not try? If a goalscorer and midfield provider can fire for a month that could be enough to keep us up. Scoring has been our issue, so do everything we can to cover all bases. There would be no harm.

I’d love to ask @Michael_Eisner @eric_eisner how they see football as a business. Its not £200m a year or bust. The way u profit is by improving it then exiting. Like any businessman knows. Owning #Pompey is not like owning any business. If ceiling of investment is hit, then sell

@Limmy05 These are issues that I’ve been raising (privately to myself) for 4 or 5 seasons. What’s going to change financially for things to change?? Ur right, we do what it takes to stay up. So why not pay free agents wages for two months? At least do all we can to stay up.
