@VincentLivings I guess it doesn't qualify as "upcoming" but this is a game called Everlife. In each level, you have to collect a star at the other end of the maze and return to the portal to beat it. Its basically... a rip off of your game. I even used an AI trick from Nikson XD. #indiegame

Last year I posted screenshots for the Chapter 1 anniversary, but chapter 2 is actually out now! (And sadly, nothing related to chapter 3 yet)

And one more note, when it does enter production, I'm not giving a release frame until the chapter is nearly done. Giving one was a mistake with chapter 2.

I've started my first year of college and let me just say, it's a lot! I've barely had time to work on anything personal! An optimization update is in the works for the time I do have. Besides a level file and some soundtracks, I haven't even started on chapter 3 yet :(

I actually just realized that some of the ceiling tiles (3x3) were sometimes using 8 DRAW CALLS! I'm optimizing those rn so hopefully it gives some minor improvement :)

Tsundere Terror didn't really get much improvement at all from what I did so far and I had to put a cute little Band-Aid over the level (it messed up some collisions with the floor)

After completion of optimizations in Murky Mansion, my quick tests predicted about a 10% reduction in GPU usage. Going to optimize Tsundere Terror and Game Grievance too :) #everlife #indiegame #indiedev

So, after some more so far what I’m doing doesn’t seem to be making a massive difference, but it should still help with that “flickering” issue :)

I just did a test with a segment of the ballroom and it worked perfectly. All I can say is, I’ll probably be able to get a HUGE optimization update out soon, at least I hope :) #everlife #indiegame #indiedev
