Five years ago, Baroka FC chairman, Khurishi Mphahlele shared his vision to build a stadium in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, that would host professional matches.
Over the weekend, the stadium hosted the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC), featuring teams such as Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Orlando Pirates.
While the current capacity sits at 5,000, the targeted capacity after its completion is 15,000.
To date, Baroka FC remains the only professional club in South Africa to own a stadium.

I knew that I’ve seen those fake crosses somewhere!
For us who’ve been on #CountryDuty for sometime, we remember a protest that Afriforum organized in October 2017 called Black Monday.
They brought these crosses as part of sharing their ‘plight’ and that video that was played by Trump, was part of that protest around Limpopo AND NOT OF THE ACTUAL WHITE FARMERS MURDERED!
