And now for my final jewel which is my pride and joy😎Made by George Kenning around 1880. Very rare and, in my humble opinion, very beautiful😍One I searched for for a long time after seeing our Grand Superintend with a similar one. The star of my collection 🤩

Next week will be the first time in 6 wonderful years that I've not held an Active Rank in the Province. In that time I've gained many friends and brothers, grown as a person & #Freemason - I feel so privileged and honoured to have been given these opportunities. THANK YOU

@PaulDavies17 @HantsCompanion Congratulations Paul. Greatly deserved no doubt. I did 2 years as acting steward and loved every minute of it. Made some lasting friendships from it also.

These are just a representation of my collection so I’d recommend looking down through my feed to see others. And some in the picture are, unfortunately, not for sale😎

I think I’ve come to the point where I am prepared to let some of my collection go to Brethren/Companions who want to put these jewels back to work and give them a life within an open Lodge/Chapter again. Drop me a direct message if any of the jewels on the feed interest you.

@Prestonian2012 Unfortunately No Brother Harvey. As you might have seen from these photos, some of my jewels have reproduction bars so, if I did find any, which is not that likely, as you know, I would put them on my jewels. Sorry

So, not as if i have enough jewels but I couldn’t resist this one😍Made in 1850 and such a different design. I think the creativity and workmanship in the 1800’s is very hard to beat.

This is the last jewel I bought. I think it is so beautiful😍. It is similar to the one I posted a few days ago but twice the size. Made by George Kenning (note the scallop shell which he used a lot) probably between 1860-80. Definitely one I’ll use a lot😎

Another watch case jewel but this one is a large one. I don’t have any information on this one but I know it took some “persuading” to get the Companion to part with it😎This is another of my favourites that gets plenty of trips out😍

This is a stunning mid sized watch case jewel with brilliants. Made by George Kenning. No date year but by the GK hallmark it was made between 1860 and 1890. Very nice and clean jewel in very good condition for it age😍

Getting near the end of my collection now but I still have a few favourites left to post. This is another gold one. Made by George Kenning in 1914. This one is very similar to the one I posted earlier but with a shorter ribbon which I personally prefer.

This was my first large watch case jewel and one I’ve never lost the love for. No marks but probably from the last quarter of the 1800’s. This one has had plenty of trips out and I’m sure it will see many Chapters in the future.

My final Scottish jewel. No makers mark but probably mid 1800’s. Originally, I thought the gilt hat totally faded but closer inspection shows that the arch, alter, ray of light and “TH” At the bottom all are gold coloured. Very nice and very unusual😍

Another set of the “ordinary” but these are my favourite ones. All George Kenning and all Victorian and all stunningly beautiful in their own right😍

This one is from 1906, made by George Kenning, as many are, but this one is gold on all parts. It does have a stunning look which, obviously, the silver ones don’t.

Another jewel in perfect proportion. I don’t have many details about this one but it is probably from the latter part of the 1800’s, it is in beautiful condition and I’m going to be wearing it tomorrow night for a fraternal visit by my Lodge😎

This is one of my favourite jewels. It was presented to Comp DC Frayer in 1863 on Jersey. When I got it, the bottom ribbon bar was broken so I had to take the ribbon off to get it fixed.Because of a great Brother on Jersey I have a good history of Comp Frayer which is so special😍
