REPORT: A school resource officer in Marion County, South Carolina is under investigation after striking a student athlete in the head with a stun gun during a baseball game at Pee Dee Academy on March 25. The student was on the opposing team. Video shows the officer, identified as Deputy Eddie Page, grabbing the teen and hitting him with a Taser in front of a crowd. The deputy has been reassigned, and the case has been turned over to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is no longer handling the investigation.
