The EU approving the Xbox / ABK deal essentially thrusts the CMA into political spotlight in the UK. Could be argued the CMA has threatened jobs and investment, at a time when UK desperately needs it, while the EU is "open for business" as Kotick and Smith keep repeating.

The European Commission has required Microsoft to license popular Activision Blizzard games automatically to competing cloud gaming services. This will apply globally and will empower millions of consumers worldwide to play these games on any device they choose.

Activision Blizzard plans to meaningfully expand our investment and workforce throughout the EU, and we’re excited for the benefits our deal with Microsoft offers players in Europe and elsewhere.

Had to return to pick up the latest achievements and may have had my best run ever. Enemy and gold counters inevitably stopped counting, but the damage and chaos was off the charts. Still so much fun.
