There are countries that will kill you for being gay or choosing a different religion or letting parts of your body show in public... He got the death sentence for raping and killing a 9 yr old. He deserved worse.

Unpopular opinion. God’s law of an eye for an eye was done away with by the new law established under Jesus Christ and His infinite atonement. I hate when Christian’s justify bad behavior with incorrect biblical information. I don’t believe any man has the authority to end another’s life. That said, I’m not condoning the heinous crimes he committed. He deserved to be punished and he was. The United States is one of the last countries in the world to sentence criminals to death. Who wins? The victim never comes back. The act of that criminal will likely create generational toxicity for everyone involved. Nothing changes that. Please don’t come at me with numbers. It costs more to execute under today’s law than it does to serve life. It makes no sense. It’s vengeance. Nothing more.

@ernie_cordell @YouTube Yeah, I feel that. More than half my childhood friends are gone... My Mom isn't doing well after losing my Dad, my sister has only talked to me a handful of times since my other sister's funeral in 96. I've gone weeks without any human contact. Definitely sucks, that.
