The one time I choose to sleep before the end of an LCK series, I choose to do it after game 2 and T1 gets reverse swept. Also Team Canada lost twice

I have been publicly accused by one of my players (ZVEN) of being a jungle propagandist. I want to state that I AM NOT creating jungle propaganda within the team. It is not my fault that jungle is simply the most important role and that everything revolves around it.

That signing bonus is meant to entice Bellinger to opt out after the first two seasons. Bellinger collects $85M over the first two years, but then his salary drops in 2028 and 2029. If Bellinger is still playing at a high level, he can try to hit FA again and all he’d need to do to come out ahead is get a deal better than 3 years/$77.5M. The Yankees clearly wanted Bellinger, but not on a long term deal. They’ve clearly built this contract in a way that reduces the chances of having to pay Bellinger past 2027.
Jon Heyman@JonHeyman

Bellinger breakdown: $20M signing bonus, $32.5M 2026 and 2027, $25.8M 2028 and 2029, $25.9M 2030 #yankees

Baseball trade values likes this trade for the Yankees. Weathers is under control for three seasons and can be a mid-rotation starter if he stays healthy. He is extremely cheap at $1.35M this season. Weathers missed significant time last season with a forearm strain and a lat strain. He’s never thrown 100 MLB innings in a season before. He’s not the guy we were hoping for, but there’s some good upside here if he can stay healthy. But we can say that about a lot of guys.

On another note, thank you to you all for all the incredible interactions I’ve had with many of you on a daily basis. To think my posts were seen 20M times this year is completely crazy to me. I’m thinking of new ideas to offer new content to you all in 2026. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions., I’m all ears!

This year felt like many parts of my life were happening at once rather than in separate chapters. I was balancing being a dad, a husband, an athlete, a coach and a business owner at the same time. I trained seriously, traveled more, met a lot of new people and became more rooted in my community, all while staying present for my family and responsible in my work. It was full and demanding but also deeply rewarding. I became more intentional about how I live instead of simply pushing through on momentum. I paid closer attention to my health, my energy, my mood and how I respond to stress not because something was wrong but because I wanted to understand myself better and be more present. That shift helped me operate with more clarity and consistency across everything I was doing. One of the most meaningful experiences was reconnecting with my roots. I traveled to Latvia, my grandmother’s home country, played lacrosse for their national team and helped them qualify for the World Lacrosse Championships. It was more than a sporting achievement. It felt grounding and personal, connecting who I am now with where my family came from. I also learned that life is cumulative. When you consistently show up as your best self physically, emotionally and professionally, the effects build across different areas of life. Training led to competition. Competition led to travel, friendships and a deeper sense of identity. Now it is even shaping future family experiences like a trip to Tokyo in 2027 for the World Championships. None of it was planned that way but each step created the conditions for the next. 2026 is just about stacking all that work from 2025 into more experiences that my family and I get to cherish forever. Happy New Year to everyone and Go Yanks’

Refsynder is a player I thought the Yankees might be in on. The Yankees could use his RH bat off the bench in a lot of ways. But I had Austin Hays higher on my list of platoon bats for the Yankees. If the Yankees do run out Dominguez in LF, then a right handed platoon bat in the OF becomes an essential addition. It would pair well with Rosario as a RH infield bat. If Hays comes off the board, then I’ll have to start talking myself into Bellinger again. And I don’t want to talk myself into 6-7 years of Cody Bellinger.
Jeff Passan@JeffPassan

Outfielder Rob Refsnyder and the Seattle Mariners are in agreement on a one-year contract. Refsnyder, 34, crushes left-handed pitching and has been a very good platoon player in recent seasons.

Don’t know what else to say here other than thank you NA needed proper offseason events to watch featuring our own teams for years now and the fact that you made this happen is incredible!
C9 David Han@1davidhan

Last year, I was watching the KeSPA Cup and thought, “wow, it would be so cool if we could attend and give our fans something to watch during the offseason.” I decided to chase that dream and started looking into whether it was even viable. Historically, Western teams could never secure an invitation or navigate the logistics, but I wanted to see if we could change that. I wasn’t even sure until last month that we would be able to attend, but thankfully… we are in! I want to thank @kespa for this unique opportunity, @TheeMarkZ for helping facilitate and make this happen, and @TL_Dodo & @TeamLiquidLoL for joining us on such short notice. It's gonna be a good experience for our team as we prep for next year.

Winner! Winner! We have the first “Trade Giancarlo Stanton” take of the offseason. Come on down and accept your prize!

Ricky@Rickymartello04

@rationalyankee The Yankees could get Bellinger & Tucker if they wanted to. Tucker to left, Belly to CF(1B vs lefties), Judge to right. Dominguez to DH & trade Stanton. U can’t spend 30 mil on Stanton when he can’t run or field. And if this postszn he couldn’t even hit. To much $ for no return
