Things are much worse now than they were when the market dropped 30% during the Tariff drop of March/ April 2025.
But since that turned out to be such a great buying opportunity.
Many investors have not been selling like they did back then.
But the market will drop anyway.

So avoiding a big market drop is great.
Making money short is great.
But the hardest part is knowing when you have hit the bottom and when to buy a stock like $NVDA and not trade it but hold it longer term.

I made mistakes during the last big market drop in 2026 on the tariffs.
Even though I avoided the drop because I saw it coming.
I got too bearish. With the market down 30% I was still afraid of a deeper drop on a recession.
I was buying $NVDA around $87.00 and didn't hold it.

For new traders it's a good lesson to go back to last year's tariff drop and see how that unfolded.
The Iran War drop could be something like that.

How will we know when the market makes it's bottom on the Iran War drop?
You will know it when you see it.
It's usually when the market gets to extreme oversold levels followed by margin calls.
Eventually it reaches the right prices
then buyers coming in and the drop bottoms.

One thing one has to be careful about here is buying oversold drops.
If the market drops 5% in a day it may seem extremely oversold.
But as we have seen since Covid.
The market can get very very short term oversold.

How corrections work.
At the start you get big drops like yesterday and today and the bargain hunters come in and the market bounces.
Eventually you keep getting big drops and the bargain hunters have no more $ to bounce the market back and that's when the big drops stick.

You have weapons to make money too
1) Short the Biggest Bubble Stocks.
2) Use the system and buy #SPXU/ $SQQQ to make $ on drops. $UPRO/ $TQQQ on the bounce
3) Buy Volatility indexes
4) Buy puts
5) Catch oversold bounces.
6) Don't trade long Build cash

I sold all my Gold holdings on Friday.
Too risky to hold.
I did very well the last 2 years and it was time to cash in.

Unlike the last drop.
This one ain't going back up to the highs again.

Russell 2000 Small Cap Futures down 4%?
Why has it been dropping so much since Monday?
1) War is not good for small caps.
2) Less chance of interest rate cuts because of added inflation from soaring oil.
3) Higher energy costs etc from higher oil prices is bad for earnings.

Will the drop get worse in March possibly even into April?
I believe so.
Will it end up being another amazing buying opportunity after the capitulation peaks like it has since the great depression of 1929.

How did I know last week that it was RISK FREE to short Gold?
1) Gold went to $5600. Then it crashed in just 2 days to $4400. before bouncing back.
2) When the war broke out it should of been Bullish for gold but instead Gold went to $5400. and died.
Told me that the top was in.

I knew Gold and the market were going to drop.

I've been shorting Gold using the $GLL. Tomorrow will be another pay day. Why did I get bearish on Gold here after it just made a 200%+ move higher? Because last Monday when the war started. It should have took out the highs instead it got to $5400 and folded. Not Bullish.

They are trying to fake traders out by breaking over the 50 sma only to fail again below every time.
