Ekiti residents are now facing serious hardships just weeks after collecting ₦20,000 each from the APC during the elections.
The irony is that many of those who served as election monitors in Ekiti are now heading to Osun State.
How does a mineral seller end up paying heavy taxes instead of simple tickets or levies? A furniture dealer who cannot afford to rent a proper shop and operates under trees is being charged ₦17,000 monthly. One can only imagine how much shop owners in busy markets like Oje, Olobi, Igbonna, and Orisunmibare are expected to pay. 😂

“Mary Habila was found dead. Naked. In David Umahi’s residence. He is a sitting Minister. She was a domestic worker. No arrest. No interrogation. No transparency.
If he were a poor man, police would have dragged him to court by now. Instead, they are “investigating” while he goes free. This is not justice. This is privilege. Umahi must answer. Police must act. Nigeria must stop protecting power over people…”

Buhari’s Era: Project costs were relatively stable. When ₦1 billion was released for a road project, it bought a significant amount of cement, steel, and labor.Tinubu’s Era: Severe currency devaluation and 30%+ inflation mean that even when Tinubu's administration releases larger nominal sums of cash, the purchasing power of that cash is severely diminished. A project that cost Buhari ₦5 billion to fund now costs Tinubu ₦25 billion, meaning fewer actual projects get completed per Naira spent.

So a young lady died at the residence of Nigeria's Minister of Works, David Umahi - the police hasn't even launched a proper investigation.
Scenarios like this remind me of Ekweremadu, Nigeria's former Deputy Senate President who wanted to illegally harvest a child's organs.
He's rotting away in a UK jail because he didn't commit the crime in Nigeria.
"Nigeria is a giant crime scene" is an unbelievable understatement.

Dear @PoliceNG you are mad, very mad
You are yet to charge David Umahi for the obvious death abi murder case of Mary Habila who died in his house since June 26, despite knowing his house and office in Nigeria, it’s me who you know lives outside the country you framed a charge sheet, charging me to court because @SecretsReporter @SecretsReports exposed the CBN Deputy Governor, Emem Usoro purchase of N4.1 billion home in US as ordinary banker and her adulterous lifestyle that is already in court.
You said I’m large knowing fully well I don’t reside in Nigeria. It will not be well with you and your family.
Emem Usoro who should be facing EFCC and ICPC prosecution for money laundering is who you are doing her bidding.
How did an ordinary ED get billions and moved the money in dollars through the banking system that she’s part of, PAID CASH for the two houses and other ones yet untold?
Go and charge Umahi for homicide and leave SecretsReporters, our senior investigative reporter Stanley Ugagbe and myself alone. We will keep doing our work and a million charge sheet won’t change that.
You should be ashamed of yourself for always being a tool for corrupt Nigerian

BREAKING: We have credible reports that the APC government is plotting to arrest Peter Obi because they failed to stop him from contesting the 2027 Presidential election.
Let them hear this loud and clear: Peter Obi remains the only joy giver left for suffering Nigerians at this critical moment. Any attempt to arrest him will trigger massive unrest that the APC will deeply regret.
Abuja will become unbearable for Bola Tinubu and his corrupt officials who are busy planning setting Nigeria on fire.
An illegitimate government that cannot provide good governance has now resorted to illegal political persecution.
Since shutting down the nation is their specialty, we are more than ready to give it to them louder and stronger.
The more they oppress, the more united and resolute we become. Peter Obi is the hope they cannot kill.

@TrendingEx @Wizarab10 @CitizenMonitors That Gbajabiamila still has a job means he was taking directives from the one who hasn't sacked him.

JUST IN: Femi Gbajabiamila reportedly forged a law, used it to collect ₦54bilion from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), claiming it was an order from Pres. Tinubu. Bayo Onanuga backs him.
He allegedly demanded 4% of NUPRC’s revenue, to be split into two. 2.5% and 1.5%, the latter will be for “upgrading of crude oil and gas metering and transparency systems” — this doesn’t exist in this context. It was his way of illegally collecting the money to himself.
Gbaja assumed office as Chief of Staff in June 2023. The incident occurred in July 2023, just weeks after Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in.
Bayo Onanuga insists the money was not illegal and that it was released under a lawful order from the President. Which is concerning, because the President does not have the legal authority to issue such orders.
Apparently, the Presidential Chief of Staff also reached out to FIRS, NIMASA and Nigerian Customs with similar tactics.

Niger has made corruption a capital crime with the death penalty for stealing above 1.6 million dollars, but in Nigeria, where 8.83 trillion naira was spent outside the budget and a 12 billion naira Customs bribery ring has seen no trial, politicians escape through medical travel, social media lies, and court delays, proving that in Niger stealing costs your life while in Nigeria it only costs a change of environment.
