It's been extraordinarily beneficial being off X for the past two months, leaving the heavy lifting to AI and intermediaries. I haven't missed the cynical bad faith and endless drama this platform spreads, nor the pathological inability to feel a win.
USDCx was an awesome accomplishment. Alongside so many others in February. I'm glad I got to feel them completely. I look forward to March with much more to come. I'd highly encourage everyone to step away from this platform in exchange for others that don't cause so much mental harm and the destruction of your soul.
@MetamateDaz Find a single mom lawyer to date. They’re out there, because they’re hard to live with, and any man with something actually going for him won’t put up with them. You’ll spend the next 30-40 years without a say in anything, but you’ll have cool shit, and no money worries.
I’m a loser at 27 😭. Made dumb financial decisions and struggled with depression most of my 20s. Last year I got laid off and my car was repossessed. I found another job recently, but the damage feels permanent.
Credit score: 290. $23/hr in a kitchen. No savings, no retirement. My sociology degree feels worthless. I can’t afford to rent alone, so I’m stuck with roommates for years. I’m just… lost.
@MrPitbull07 Midwest suburbs. We pay $230 for a 4 bedroom 4 bath for a regular clean. The first clean was the only deep clean we’ve done, and I think that was something like 5-600.
My friend is new to cleaning business, and her client is asking her to do a deap clean of her two story house with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The client expects to pay $100. My friend is just starting out so she's not sure if this is a fair price. Because it's a deep clean, it might take her five hours or more. She told the client she can do it for $150, but she said my friend is asking too much and that she could find someone who would do it for even $80. Since this is her first client, my friend is wondering whether she should accept the offer.

For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.
The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars.
It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city.
That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.
@yumliquor@GlowingToast@ManMilk2 My point wasn’t even to correct the post. It was a joke about pronouns, because the original person claimed to be a they/them and used improper pronouns in their post. It was funny to me until this nonsense.
@MasterSnekk@ManMilk2 No "than me" is not incorrect. It's just as gramatically correct as "than I". One is just more formal than the other.
*rage baiter ;)
@GlowingToast@ManMilk2 You’re just wrong. Personally, I’d have phrased it “than I am” to make it less proper or arrogant, but I assure you, “than me” is incorrect.
@GlowingToast@ManMilk2 Not to mention, the entire comment was a joke poking at the original post. The joke is still valid even if your incorrectness was more correct.
@GlowingToast@ManMilk2 Yeah, you’re right in terms of “you can use whatever grammar you want, because no one actually cares on social media,” but it’s still incorrect.
@IOHK_Charles Remember when you said you were going to bring back the fun, then you spent a few months spinning out, pretended to leave, and now you’re doing this shit?

"Sorry Brad, it’s not better than chaos." ⛔️
@IOHK_Charles Charles calls it out: Crypto is handing the keys to the SEC for ‘clarity’ even accepting bills from critics like Warren.
This betrays the freedom revolution #Bitcoin & #Cardano were built on. We fight to break chains, not forge new ones. 💔🔗

This is probably the greatest mystery of my childhood
One day my mom and dad told my sister and I to come to the garage, they said they had a surprise
I must have been like 5 or 6? I was really excited thinking it would be a present or something
We went to the garage and they told us to close our eyes, which we did
Then they just…threw pies in our faces
They’re genuinely not overly silly people, dad a bit stern, mom a bit animated, but they just threw pies in our faces
They burst out laughing and my mom took a picture, but then came the weird part
They just…never talked about it again?
They’d say “don’t be so dramatic” and change the topic, we’ve never gotten a straight answer from them, no rhyme or reason
For the longest time I thought I dreamt it or saw it on TV until I was going through family photos and finally found it
Confronted my mom, same old story “don’t be so dramatic”
I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer but I’ll think about it occasionally for the rest of my life
