GameStop Corp. now has economic exposure to 7.5% ownership of eBay as seen in latest form 425 via EDGAR. They now have exposure to 33,497,000 shares of Common Stock. Ryan Cohen will NOT be deterred on his quest to own the ecommerce auction giant. $GME

If $EBAY trades up to $125, the $GME derivative position is already worth somewhere between $927M and $1.47B depending on which part of the options book you’re looking at, with roughly $186M to $236M of pure profit sitting on top of an approximately $10M all-in entry cost, which is less than 0.1% of GameStop’s ~$9B cash on hand. Push eBay to $150 and that same position swells to somewhere between $1.5B and $2.1B, with $750M to $900M of embedded profit. Push eBay to $175…? And the setup only gets more interesting when you look at the float: institutions alone own roughly 104% of eBay’s outstanding shares, insiders including Pierre Omidyar and Margaret Whitman hold another <4.9% each (non-reporting), retail accounts for a small slice on top of that, short interest sits at roughly 3.5% of float, and GameStop’s exposure adds another 6.55%, stacking the total well past 100% of the available float before you even factor in rehypothecation. If GameStop even deploys 5% of its total cash on hand right now, this can turn into a generational trade for Ryan Cohen as our Chief Investment Officer at large, whether or not the acquisition goes through. Ryan delivered on exactly what he said: an investment* that has limited downside, and asymmetric upside. From a capital allocation perspective? The way he has set us up here is incredible, and going to protect shareholder capital at all cost while bringing the biggest ROI possible. And if we get eBay? A bonus as we become an instant $60B company, accretively per current share of GameStop. Thanks Ryan Cohen. I’m voting YES on all.

Did Ryan Cohen $GME - in his personal capacity, buy something in October of 2024? Probably wasn't private shares of $SPCX right? Cause that would be legendary.

Ryan Cohen’s track record, in his own words from his Pompliano interview, is that of an owner/operator first, and passive/active investor second. Owner/Operator plays (full-time, hands-on): 🐾 Chewy $CHWY - co-founded in 2011, sold to PetSmart for $3.35B in 2017 🎮 GameStop $GME - took ~13% stake in 2020, became Chairman, then CEO in 2023 🛒 eBay $EBAY - GameStop building ~5% stake; $55.5B unsolicited acquisition bid (2026) Activist/Influence plays (significant stake + board agitation): 🛁 Bed Bath & Beyond $BBBY - ~10% stake in 2022, pushed for sale of BuyBuy Baby; exited for ~$68M profit before bankruptcy 👔 Nordstrom - built ~4.2% stake in 2023, sought up to 19.9%, pushed for board changes; exited via take-private in May 2025 Passive/Investment-only plays: 🍎 Apple $AAPL - 6.2M shares ($800M stake); one of his first stocks, bought at age 15 🏦 Wells Fargo $WFC - sizable passive holding post-Chewy exit 🏦 Citigroup $C - passive stake, first reported in November 2022 📺 Netflix $NFLX - building passive stake since late 2022; called it undervalued 🛍️ Alibaba $BABA - grew to ~$1B stake (~7M shares) by Feb. 2025; pushed for accelerated buybacks It’s important to have these categorized accordingly, as Ryan implied in his interview with Pompliano. I see a pattern here and so after he gets eBay, I think he will go for a financial institution (or FinTech).

Final* Q1 2026 Earnings estimates for $GME April data has now come in from all of my market research sources over the past week, so this is my final update to the Q1 estimates. - Hardware and Accessories: ~$330M - Software: ~$186M - Collectibles: ~$293M Total Revenue: ~$809M - Net Operating Profit: ~$88M - Interest Income: ~$94M - $BTC dollar gain + CC strategy gain: ~$29M - $EBAY derivatives unrealized gain: ~$456M Total Adj Net Income: ~$667M Uncertain Wildcard: Corporate Tariff Refunds (~$150M). If GameStop applied for corporate tariff refunds before Q1 closed around May 2, and recognized the receivable at the time of application, this amount could appear on the balance sheet and flow into adjusted net income for the quarter. The application portal opened approximately 4/21/26, leaving a narrow window of roughly 11 days before quarter-end. Actual cash disbursements to applying corporations are understood to have not hit accounts until the first or second week of May, meaning the cash itself would not be in Q1, but an accrued receivable could be, depending on GME's accounting policy and whether they applied at all. This remains entirely unconfirmed but a welcome bonus, either this quarter or in Q2 if GameStop files for it. Another historic and momentous quarter for GameStop, and possibly the last time I run projections for the company as it has existed over the past five years. Soon, the research and reporting may need to broaden to reflect a much larger company! I will link all of the Q1 monthly market research in the comments, covering the product and service categories in which GameStop operates. Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions.

Now we know what Ryan Cohen meant when he said $GME is going to attempt something “never been done before” in the history of the capital markets. Currently they have 6.55% exposure to a $50B+ company (eBay) using <$10M cash, which is around 0.1% of GameStop’s total assets under management. I would say that is quite unprecedented.
Kevin Malone@Malone_Wealth

GameStop could potentially be the first company in history to acquiring a majority share of company 4x their size via Call Options. Think about that 3D chess.

As usual, I'm always wrong, not financial advice, stonks go up, down, sideways, I'm biased, please make good decisions, I really don't know what those are, but... I haven't changed anything on this chart since like January. The Babe Ruth window starts today. The green dot just showed up there at the bottom right on the 1-day Dual RSI Smoother (Thanks @theultimator5 ). Do with this what you will.
